Department/Unit: Labor & Delivery - D6E

Work Shift: Day (United States of America)

Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

The clinical Nurse contributes to a compassionate environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening. Recognizes and values each employee’s work, contributing to the success of the Mission.

  1. Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documents treatment as required by policies and regulations.
  2. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
  3. Assesses patient needs and responses to care rendered.
  4. Uses sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  5. Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  6. Administers medications as ordered.
  7. Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care.
  8. Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintains professional standards.
  9. Will cross-train to both High Risk Antepartum Unit (D6N) and Labor and Delivery (D6E).
  10. Will be routinely assigned to work on either unit (D6N/D6E).
