Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Role Overview

The Clinical Nurse contributes to creating a compassionate environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening. Recognizes the value of each employee’s work in contributing to the success of the Mission.

Responsibilities

1. Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document treatment as required by policy and regulations.
2. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
3. Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
4. Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care decisions.
5. Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
6. Administer medications as ordered.
7. Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for patients.
8. Guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards.
9. Cross-train to both High Risk Antepartum Unit (D6N) and Labor and Delivery (D6E).
10. Work routinely on either unit (D6N/D6E).
