Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Education: participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others.
• Evaluation of care: identifies expected patient outcomes and assists in plan updates.
• Implementation: delivers care for patients with complex needs per standards.
• Leadership: supports unit goals and collaborates interdepartmentally.
• Patient assessment: prioritizes care based on data and needs.
• Planning: collaborates with patient/family to update the care plan.
• Research: reads journals and shares applicable findings with the team.
