Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Education: identify learning needs and use patient education materials relevant to patient population.
• Evaluation of Care: identify expected outcomes and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation: provide care for complex patients and follow policies and procedures.
• Leadership: contribute to unit goals and promote interdepartmental collaboration.
• Patient Assessment: prioritize care based on data and patient needs.
• Planning: collaborate with patient/family to plan care and utilize resources.
• Research: read journals and discuss applicability with staff.
