Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Education: identify learning needs and provide patient education.
• Evaluation of care: participate in evaluation of patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation: provide competent care for patients with complex needs and coordinate with resources.
• Leadership: support unit goals and promote safe, cost-effective care.
• Patient assessment: synthesize data to determine care priorities and discharge needs.
• Planning: collaborate with patient/family to update the plan of care.
• Research: stay informed on journals applicable to practice.
