Job summary

Mercy Home Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse I to lead a Care Delivery Team, directing patient care with CN II as a resource. The CN I role covers assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients’ physical, psychological, and sociocultural needs, with progression toward CN II in the Mercy clinical ladder.

Ideal candidates will hold an Ohio RN license and BLS/CPR certification, complete orientation, and participate in ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure from the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse and current BLS/CPR certification.
• Successful completion of orientation and probationary period.
• Maintains continuing education annually to stay current.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Care Delivery Team and direct care for a patient group with CN II as a resource.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the patient’s physical, psychological and sociocultural needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff and ensure appropriate use of equipment.
• On-site leadership while progressing from CN I toward CN II within the clinical ladder.
