Northwell Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver age-specific care using the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the health team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires NY RN licensure, with BSN preferred and a plan to obtain BSN within five years. Cardiac/Telemetry experience is preferred, with a focus on quality care and discharge planning for diverse patient populations.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NY RN license; BSN preferred; must obtain BSN within five years.
• Cardiac or Telemetry RN experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs age-specific plan of care using nursing process and coordinates with the health team.
• Interviews patients, reviews charts, assesses GI, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and neurological status.
• Documents care plans, patient status, and education needs; ensures safety and discharge planning.
• Leads and delegates tasks on the patient care unit, collaborating with physicians.
• Responds to emergencies, maintains aseptic technique, and ensures accurate medication administration.
• Maintains accurate documentation and supports patient and family education.
