Job summary

TriState Health in Clarkston, WA is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (0.80 FTE, 32 hours/week) to lead onboarding, training, and ongoing education for nursing staff. The role includes updating policies, ensuring staff competency, and collaborating with hospital leadership to meet strategic goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating clinical practice evidence, implementing changes for safe patient care, and overseeing critical care and other specialties within the education program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Current Washington State RN license; BLS/CPR.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in Acute Care Med/Surg setting.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and orient new staff; provide training and continuing education.
• Update policies and procedures; collaborate with hospital leadership on goals.
• Evaluate evidence supporting clinical practice and implement changes for safe patient care.
• Oversee and teach critical care and other specialties within the education program.
