Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a full-time Clinical Educator RN to design, implement, and evaluate education programs for nursing and clinical staff, focusing on onboarding, competency development, and evidence-based practice.

You will partner with leadership, mentor staff, support student rotations, and ensure training aligns with regulatory standards, quality outcomes, and organizational goals. Occasional travel to other local Northwest Healthcare campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 1–2 years in education, training, or professional development in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs and deliver learner-focused educational experiences.
• Plan, develop, and deliver orientation programs for new hires.
• Maintain records of clinical training, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Provide hands-on training, classroom instruction, and simulation-based learning.
• Stay current with clinical practices and trends in healthcare education.
• Demonstrate leadership to foster teamwork and a collaborative environment.
• Support clinical rotation programs for students and coordinate learning experiences.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance.
