Job summary

Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend, WA is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Education Team. You will develop, coordinate and implement educational programs for clinical staff, oversee new employee orientation, and tailor training for all experience levels, from new graduates to seasoned professionals.

You will also provide continuing education and serve as a resource for clinical instruction and program development.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license in good standing.
• BSN required; graduate degree preferred.
• Graduate degree in Nursing, Education, or related specialty preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible acute care nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Advanced certifications (PALS, ENPC, TNCC, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates and implements educational programs for clinical staff.
• Oversees new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Customizes training for all experience levels, from new graduates to seasoned professionals.
• Provides continuing education and serves as a resource for clinical instruction and program development.
• Collaborates with leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure training meets evolving standards.
