Job summary

St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing care during shifts, collaborate with management, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates care and serves as a resource for staff while aligning with hospital policies and the organization’s values. You will participate in admissions, throughput, staffing, training, and service improvements to sustain exceptional patient experiences and clinical

Qualifications

• RN required and in good standing
• ACLS to be obtained within 30 days
• NIH Stroke Scale to be obtained within 60 days
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Directs, motivates and supports staff within the unit during shifts.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery as needed.
• Schedules staff and manages labor in line with patient care needs.
• Manages inventory control and supplies/equipment.
