The role includes supervising students and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Applicants should have a BS in Medical Technology or related science (or AS with extensive experience) and may pursue certification.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science with clinical lab experience.
• AS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with four years of related clinical lab experience accepted.
• Certification in Medical Technology or subspecialty certification is preferred but not required.

• Perform diagnostic testing on blood and other specimens.
• Calibrate, run quality control, and maintain clinical laboratory instruments.
• Prepare reagents and media per procedures; document results.
• Orient and supervise students and new staff as needed.
