Job summary
GBMC HealthCare is seeking a skilled medical laboratory professional to perform clinical laboratory tests, ensure accuracy, and report results for diagnosis and treatment. This role involves waived to highly complex testing on blood and other specimens under general supervision.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science with two years related lab experience.
- OR an Associate’s degree in Med Lab Technology with four years related lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic testing on blood and other specimens and reports results.
- Calibrates and maintains a variety of lab instruments and equipment; recognizes and corrects basic instrument malfunctions.
- Prepares reagents or media per procedures.
- Conducts and documents quality control procedures and evaluates QC results.
- Orients and supervises students and new staff as needed.
- Participates in quality improvement and education programs.
