Job summary

VillageMD seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs with patient care, administrative tasks, and smooth room turnover. The role emphasizes accurate vital signs, charting, and coordination of visits in our electronic health records system.

The ideal candidate will have MA training, be fluent in English, and ideally speak Polish. Travel to satellite offices may be required in this multi-site network, with a focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.
• Bilingual in Polish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms and assists with patient flow.
• Documents patient information and vital signs in EHR.
• Assists physicians and other clinicians with patient care and procedures.
• Schedules appointments and manages referrals in the PMS/EHR.
• Maintains supplies and adheres to universal safety precautions.
