Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, or NPs with clinical and clerical duties across multiple sites. The MA will manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and document vitals and medications in the EHR, ensuring accurate and timely information for patient visits.

The role requires graduation from an accredited MA program or equivalent, a high school diploma, and strong English communication skills. Travel to satellite offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic proficiency in computer use is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the examination room and escorts the patient.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and proper preparation for visits.
• Documents vitals and updates in EHR accurately.
• Assists in scheduling and coordinating appointments.
• Provides referrals and care coordination as needed.
• Adheres to safety precautions and assists in care transitions.
