VillageMD is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and providers in patient care and clinic flow. The MA will prepare exam rooms, take vital signs, document in EHR, and help with referrals and scheduling in the PMS/EHR systems.

Strong communication in English and a completed Medical Assistant program are required; a High School Diploma or GED is also necessary, with BLS certification preferred. This position supports patient-centered care at satellite locations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with patient care focus.

Responsabilités

• Prepares the examination room and escorts patient into the room.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate vital signs documentation.
• Documents patient information in EHR and updates medication lists and allergies.
• Schedules appointments and supports PMS/EHR orders and referrals.
• Provides scribing support and assists with a variety of clinical tasks as assigned.
