Job summary

Capital Health Medical Group seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in New Jersey. The role involves preparing patients for visits, assisting with exams, drawing blood, and maintaining clean exam rooms and accurate records.

Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork are essential. Requires a high school diploma and completion of an approved medical assisting program, plus current certification and BLS. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a medical assisting program.
• Current certification from AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA or AMT, or registration.
• AHA BLS certification required before end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary tests and recording vital signs.
• Clean rooms, obtain lab specimens, and assist physicians and staff as needed.
• Assist with front office duties including registration, scheduling, and charting in EMR.
• Perform injections and point-of-care testing following policy and safety procedures.
• Maintain supplies, organize records, and coordinate with staff to support patient care.
