Job summary

PeaceHealth Springfield Rehabilitation Hospital in Oregon is seeking a Clinical Liaison to educate the community about acute rehabilitation and to develop referrals that support census growth. The role requires travel within the territory and onsite engagement with patients, families, and healthcare partners.

The position emphasizes relationship-building with physicians, discharge planners and case managers, with opportunities for professional development and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Clinical degree and current license to practice as an OT, PT, SLP, or RN.
• Experience in health care liaison/marketing or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census via face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business aligned with rehabilitation program goals.
• Establish face-to-face connections with referral sources to increase census.
• Identify barriers to admission and propose solutions with program director.
• Perform onsite and in-territory work with patients, families, and referrals.
• Conduct in-person trainings and presentations on acute rehabilitation services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

A Clinical Liaison who excels in this role:

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
• Face-to-face connections within the territory to build relationships with referral sources to increase census.
• Identifies barriers to the admission process and creates solutions with the assistance of the program director.
• Requires onsite and in-territory work through face-to-face contact with patients, families, and referral sources.
• Completes in-person in-services and presentations to educate on acute rehabilitation programs and services.
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Clinical degree and current license to practice as an OT, PT, SLP, RN
• Previous clinical liaison/marketing/sales experience preferred
• Applicable and current license to practice in accordance with the state licensure act
• Other professional licensure considered based on experience and training as outlined in the state licensure act
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation required
• A track record of successful experience in a health care setting, strong interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers
• Clinical experience is preferred
• Approximate time of external liaisons to be in the market territory: 80%
