Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Clinical Liaison in Joliet, IL to educate the community about acute rehabilitation and to develop census through face-to-face visits with potential referral sources.

This role requires onsite and territory travel, strong coordination with physicians and discharge planners, and the ability to present in-services on acute rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Clinical degree and current license to practice as OT, PT, SLP or RN.
• Previous clinical liaison, marketing or sales experience preferred.
• Current license to practice in the relevant state.
• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills and experience with physicians, case managers and discharge planners.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Healthcare setting experience is preferred.
• External liaison activity expected about 80% of time.

Responsibilities

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
• Build relationships with referral sources to increase census.
• Identify barriers to admission and propose solutions with the program director.
• Travel between markets for on-site liaisons and presentations.
• Conduct in-services and presentations on acute rehabilitation services.
• Other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

A Clinical Liaison who excels in this role:

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
• Face-to-face connections within the territory to build relationships with referral sources to increase census.
• Identifies barriers to the admission process and creates solutions with the assistance of the program director.
• Requires onsite and in-territory work through face-to-face contact with patients, families, and referral sources.
• Completes in-person in-services and presentations to educate on acute rehabilitation programs and services.
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Clinical degree and current license to practice as an OT, PT, SLP, RN
• Previous clinical liaison/marketing/sales experience preferred
• Applicable and current license to practice in accordance with the state licensure act
• Other professional licensure considered based on experience and training as outlined in the state licensure act
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation required
• A track record of successful experience in a health care setting, strong interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers
• Clinical experience is preferred
• Approximate time of external liaisons to be in the market territory: 80%

Salary range:

$80,000-$90,000
