Compensation: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 3% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.

Clinical Learning and Development Coordinator – On-Site or Hybrid in Aliso Viejo, CA

The Clinical Learning and Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and administration of clinical training programs at Ambry. This position is primarily responsible for handling administrative tasks, logistics, and operations for EducateNext (an educational initiative that offers free webinars for genetics professionals) and Clinical Foundations (an educational week long on-site learning experience for Ambry’s new clinical hires). Secondary responsibilities for this position include maintaining the clinical training catalog, organizing and communicating updates from Ambry’s clinical team via a monthly newsletter, overseeing the workflow for and coordinating annual training updates, and collating feedback and evaluations from new hires to stakeholders. This role will also assist with logistical planning for the Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM). Ideal candidates for this position have excellent collaboration and organizational skills, attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as a strong passion for supporting clinical education initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute administrative tasks and logistics related to all of Ambry’s educational initiatives
  • Maintain, organize, and communicate clinical educational resources at Ambry
  • Assist with logistical event planning for the Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM)
  • Maintain high level knowledge of all clinical educational initiatives and activities at Ambry
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, education, human resources, business administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of administrative support or project management (or similar) experience, preferably in a healthcare, clinical, or educational setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel are crucial)
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to cross reference information, and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent event and logistics management skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
