POP MART, founded in 2010 (SEHK: 9992), is a market-leading entertainment company and a global champion of designer toy culture. Through global artist development, IP operations, designer toy culture evangelism, and strategic investments, we have built an integrated platform covering the entire designer toy value chain, allowing artists to focus solely on their craft and giving stage to talent from all over the world. With 4,000+ employees worldwide, POP MART has successfully set foot in more than 23 countries and regions, serving a diverse audience of cultural pioneers and art fans.

The Operations Learning & Development team is responsible for empowering our team members to shine in their roles and grow amazing careers at POP MART! We bring this to life through training programs, leader-led coaching, job aids, our Learning Management System (LMS), and on-the-job learning experiences.

As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will bring learning to life in our stores. You will be a bridge between strategy and the store floor, supporting the development and execution of retail training initiatives across the organization. This role offers exposure to multiple facets of Learning & Development, with opportunities to grow into instructional design, program management, or leadership roles within POP MART’s People or Ops teams. While the role primarily operates during standard business hours, occasionally early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required to support store teams across time zones. We’re committed to building inclusive learning experiences that reflect and respect the diversity of our teams. You’ll be the go-to person for supporting learning programs that empower store teams to shine and help us ensure training is accessible, culturally relevant, and supportive of equity in career growth.

This is an onsite role out of our Los Angeles, CA office.

What You Will Achieve

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for training-related questions from store teams and field leaders during business hours, offering timely and practical solutions that align with learning and development best practices
  • Provide on-the-ground support to identify learner challenges and recommend tailored learning solutions
  • Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading training materials and communications, ensuring content is clear, accurate, and appropriately tailored to retail audiences
  • Maintain and organize training content within the Learning Management System (LMS); manage user activity, generate reports, and ensure accurate tracking of compliance and completions
  • Gather learner feedback, track engagement metrics, and contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs through data-informed insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including field operations, merchandising, human resources, and others, to ensure learning strategies are aligned with business needs
  • Support communications and coordination with third-party training vendors to stay current on tools, learning technologies, and platform updates

What You Will Need

  • 2+ years of prior exposure to LMS platforms and digital training tools
  • Experience in a retail environment, especially in training or operations roles, is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously
  • Dynamic verbal and written communication skills — you’re comfortable interacting with team members at all levels
  • A passion or background in instructional design, content creation, or storytelling is a bonus
  • You’re energized by creativity, people development, and (extra points!) you love designer toys as much as we do

Physical Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to travel to retail locations, attend team meetings, and participate in in-person training sessions as required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel occasionally for business purposes
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or at a desk) for extended periods while operating a computer or other office equipment
  • Must be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds

What We Offer

  • Market-competitive benefits package: we provide 401k, health insurance, PTO leave, paid sick leave, and family leave, etc.
  • Opportunities to learn and lead; we provide on-the-job training to ensure employees are equipped with the most up-to-date skill sets and knowledge
  • Career development: we work with you to advance your career through short-term assignments, new experiences, etc.
