Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is a leading nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States. This Co-Occurring Professional role delivers integrated mental health and addiction services, leading group and individual therapies within a 12 Step, abstinence-based framework.

You will participate on a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care, supervise students, and ensure continuity of care while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in behavioral health is required.
• Licensed to independently practice mental health and SUD services in Minnesota (LPCC/LMFT/LICSW).
• Must be trained in Rule 31 (MN).
• Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Must pass a state license/background check.
• Must have an NPI number.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical services including assessment, diagnosis, individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and ongoing care planning.
• In the absence of the program manager, assume leadership and supervise to coordinate staff and continuity of patient care.
• Provide clinical supervision to students and interns to facilitate development of clinical competency and ethical practice.
• Deliver substance use disorder and mental health treatment per Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation standards of care.
• Represent Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation services to internal and external audiences.

Education

Master's Degree in behavioral health

License to independently practice mental health and SUD services in MN (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW)

MN: Must be trained in Rule 31

Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check
