Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the leading nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States. This Co-Occurring Professional role provides advanced clinical services—group therapy and individual counseling—for patients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, integrating mental health with addiction recovery.

In collaboration with the treatment team, you will assess, diagnose, provide psychotherapy, and develop ongoing care plans.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in behavioral health required.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days (fully remote work employees exempt).
• License to independently practice mental health and SUD services in state working in (MN: LPCC, LMFT, LICSW).
• Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check.
• Individual National Provider Identification (NPI) number.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical services coordinating with treatment team.
• Lead or supervise in absence of program manager to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise students and interns to develop clinical competency and ethical practice.
• Provide substance use disorder and mental health treatment including assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing care planning.
