Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join the Carolinas Medical Center Concord Lab team. You will perform routine laboratory analyses, ensure quality and safety, and support test procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (MT/MLS eligible), MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) within one year, and hematology/oncology experience with phlebotomy. Schedule is 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, MT, MLS or equivalent registry eligible.
• MT (ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or equivalent required within one year of hire.
• Looking for techs with hematology/oncology experience as well as phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory analysis on received specimens, providing clinical information for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases.
• Maintains quality, efficiency and safety in the performance of assigned technical duties.
