Job summary

Responsibilities include applying clinical judgment to prioritize testing, troubleshooting procedures with specialists when needed, and maintaining clear shift-to-shift communication with leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education per CLIA required.
• MLT registry eligibility or equivalent required; certification within 1 year of hire.
• MLT (ASCP/AMT) certification through military training programs acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and document corrective actions.
• Prepare reagents and manage test materials to reduce waste/expense.
• Exercise clinical judgment to prioritize and troubleshoot test systems.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, TJC, OSHA accreditation requirements.
• Maintain real-time shift communication with leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings and change initiatives.
• Willing to perform all other duties as assigned.
