Bachelor’s degree required; MT/MLS or ASCP registry eligible within one year, with preferred hematology/oncology and phlebotomy experience. This is a full-time role with 40 hours weekly and a pay range of $28.55–$42.85 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field; MT/MLS or ASCP registry eligible within 1 year.
• Experience with hematology/oncology testing and phlebotomy preferred.
• Strong attention to quality assurance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency and follows testing procedures per QA guidelines; documents corrective actions.
• Prepares reagents, maintains supplies, and manages inventory to reduce waste and costs.
• Assesses priorities, troubleshoots test systems, and coordinates with specialists as needed.
• Reviews procedures to ensure compliance with CAP, TJC, OSHA regulations.
• Maintains real-time communication with shift leadership about issues affecting patient care.
• Participates in staff meetings and projects to implement changes.
