Qualificações

• Current Licensure as a CLS in the State of California.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the hospital.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Los Angeles City Employees only).
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science/Biological Science or Equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Perform laboratory testing across Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology and Blood Bank.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability and timeliness of patient test results.
• Maintain quality control, document calibrations and instrument maintenance.
• Adhere to turnaround time guidelines for STAT and routine tests and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff, providing empathetic support.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting test performance and report findings to supervision.
