Job summary

The Indian Health Service is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform comprehensive laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and immunohematology for American Indian communities.

You will ensure specimen integrity, perform quality control, calibrations, and support QA activities while complying with accreditation standards. This is a federal civil service position with competitive benefits and strict security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing in areas such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology and immunohematology.
• Ability to collect, prepare, and evaluate patient specimens with proper documentation.
• Knowledge of quality control, proficiency testing, instrument calibration, and regulatory standards.
