Job summary

You will interpret results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure accuracy, contributing to care for American Indian communities.

You will collect and prepare specimens, perform quality control and instrument maintenance, support QA and staff training, and comply with accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• NAACLS-accredited program or recognized equivalent.
• Meet Federal qualification requirements for GS-7/GS-11 levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing across chemistry, microbiology, hematology, molecular diagnostics, immunology, and immunohematology.
• Interpret and verify test results, troubleshoot discrepancies and equipment malfunctions.
• Collect, prepare, and evaluate patient specimens with proper handling and documentation.
• Perform quality control, proficiency testing, and calibration per regulatory standards.
