Job summary

WIHCC is seeking a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and high-complexity testing across hematology, immunohematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, microbiology, and serology. You will supervise sections, ensure quality control, and interpret results for the medical staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, ASCP or AMT certification, and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• ASCP or AMT certification is required.
• Experience in high complexity testing in multiple subspecialties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine, complex, and unusual tests in hematology, immunohematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, microbiology, serology, and more.
• Provides oversight to assigned laboratory sections and ensures quality control and proper inventory.
• Reports results and interprets data for clinical decision making.
