Job summary

Creative Testing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Specialist (CLS) for high complexity testing on night shift. The role supports a team environment, ensuring timely and quality results while maintaining strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates hold a biology or chemistry degree with CLIA/high complexity competencies, and relevant state licensure. Experience with complex equipment and training responsibilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biology or Chemistry required.
• High Complexity testing competencies per CFR 493.1489 and CLIA.
• State licensure or certificates where applicable.
• CLS Levels III and IV require 1+ year of clinical laboratory experience.
• Advanced proficiency with complex equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine high complexity testing of biological specimens.
• Maintain documentation and ensure donor, patient, and employee confidentiality.
• Adhere to SOPs, reports, and quality control; escalate issues when needed.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, and problem resolution.
• Mentor and train newer staff; participate in performance improvement activities.
