Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science with supervised clinical internship.
• Knowledge of highly complex testing per CLIA 88 and responsible result reporting.
• Entry level position with capability to work under supervision and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity tests and interpret results.
• Act as resource for laboratory users and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Ensure proper specimen labeling, accessioning and timely testing.
• Enter results in LIS and review codes for transcription accuracy.
• Notify appropriate personnel of critical values and call-backs per SOP.
