Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or CLS required; certification preferred.
• Experience in clinical laboratory settings with emphasis on high/commercial testing.
• ASCP/NCA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex test results and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops new tests and specialty areas with physician directors.
• Maintains inventory of all supplies for the specialty area.
• Trains staff in the specialty area and maintains training records.
• Performs moderate and high complexity testing and interprets results.
• Ensures QC procedures and adherence to regulatory standards.
