Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of clinical laboratory science and standards to perform high complexity testing as defined by CLIA 88.
• Certification by ASCP or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high complexity tests.
• Interprets test results for laboratory users.
• Reviews testing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation of test performance.
• Transcribes results into LIS and reports critical values.
• Ensures specimens are properly identified and stored.
• Maintains instrument and equipment according to SOPs.
