• ASCP or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accession and distribute laboratory specimens.
• Ensure correct specimen labeling and identify substandard specimens (hemolysis, QNS).
• Cancel inappropriate specimens with proper documentation and reorder tests when needed.
• Distribute specimens promptly to meet turnaround time (TAT) goals.
• Perform routine laboratory testing as per procedures and maintain instrument calibration.
