Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and performs selected therapeutic interventions and diagnostic procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Collaborates with patients, families and health care team to ensure quality care.
• Maintains safety and infection control precautions and ensures proper documentation.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge processes and patient transport as needed.
• Demonstrates initiative, reliability and accountability in fulfilling department duties.
