MedCentris Specialty Group seeks a Technical Consultant to oversee moderate complexity laboratory testing. The role involves on‑site and remote supervision, selecting suitable test methodologies, and ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.

You will lead proficiency testing and quality programs to maintain high standards. You will coordinate training, evaluate staff competency, and resolve technical issues to ensure compliant, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in pathology or equivalent qualifications.
• Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction where the lab is located (if required).
• Doctoral/masters in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science with relevant training.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/physical/biological/clinical lab science with at least two years in non‑waived testing.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site, telephone, or electronic consultation to the laboratory.
• Select appropriate test methodologies for clinical use of results.
• Verify procedures and establish test performance characteristics for precision and accuracy.
• Enroll in and participate in an HHS approved proficiency testing program.
