Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or related field or an AS/MLS with 10 years of relevant work experience.
• CLS/MLS/ASCP/NCA/AMT certification within 6 months of hire required.
• Certification Maintenance Program participation required to maintain certification every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze laboratory specimens and report results promptly according to policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and safety programs within the department.
• Assist in evaluating and writing procedures for new methods; participate in teaching and continuing education.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related laboratory science; or Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician Plus 10 years of work experience
