Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field required.
• Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician plus 10 years of work experience required.
• Registered CLS/MLS MT certification required within six months of hire; maintain certification every 3 years if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze laboratory specimens and report results in accordance with lab policies and procedures.
• Participate in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, maintenance and safety programs.
• May evaluate/write procedures for new methods and participate in teaching and continuing education.
• Maintain parts, reagents and supplies, and participate in organizational activities; perform duties with minimal supervision.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related laboratory science

Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician plus 10 years of work experience

Registered Clinical Laboratory Science – CLS(MLS), MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA), MT(AMT) within six months of hire
