Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science from an accredited college with 2 years of lab experience.
• ASCP certified as MLT or equivalent (AMT) within first 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and learn a computer system; good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Commitment to teamwork with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in multiple sections per policy.
• Collect and process specimens; prepare for testing or referral.
• Document results and perform quality control and maintenance.
• Interpret and troubleshoot patient results with clinicians.
• Maintain a clean work area and manage supplies.
