Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Equivalent education meeting CLIA 42CFR493.1489.
• Meets the educational requirements of a Medical Laboratory Technician II (MLT-II).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and testing within the designated section.
• Organize, plan, direct, evaluate, and provide general oversight for all laboratory operations.
• Provide leadership and administrative support to laboratory associates.
• Ensure standards of care align with CHRISTUS Health Mission and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with hospital administration to meet departmental goals.
• Promote associates development and process improvement to maintain quality and cost-effective services.
• Assume other responsibilities to ensure effective functioning of CHRISTUS Health ministry.
