Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical sciences as defined by CLIA.
• Minimum of five years of experience at a moderate or high complexity laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coaches, and reviews the performance of laboratory personnel to ensure adherence to policies and ethics.
• Oversees designated laboratory day-to-day operations and personnel decisions.
• Analyzes and interprets laboratory results according to established processes.
• Manages laboratory inventories including supplies and equipment.
• Selects appropriate test methodologies for clinical use of results.
• Verifies test procedures and establishes test performance characteristics.
