Job summary

The role requires performing waived to high complexity testing under CLIA guidelines, with training across various laboratory sections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a lab-related field per CLIA guidelines
• Direct clinical laboratory experience not required for LS I; 2 years for LS II/III with appropriate degree
• ASCP/AMT-like or related certifications preferred for advanced placement (LS IV)

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate or high complexity laboratory tests.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and QC procedures.
• Document results, abnormal findings, and corrective actions.
• Assist with training of staff and students; participate in POCT oversight as needed.
• Support regulatory inspections and ensure QA/QC data is collected and reviewed.
