Baystate Health is seeking a Medical Technologist to support day-to-day operations of the clinical chemistry lab, performing a wide range of tests with accuracy and timeliness. You will work on assay development, QC oversight, and troubleshooting instrumentation, under supervision of the Laboratory Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2–3 years of high complexity lab experience, and strong collaboration with staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of high complexity chemistry laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of CLSI, CLIA and CAP standards is beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate knowledge of assay concepts, QC evaluation, reference ranges, and instrumentation.
• Develop/write procedures conforming to CLSI/CLIA/CAP; ensure staff awareness.
• Perform testing with accuracy and precision; troubleshoot instrumentation.
