Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; AS in MLS also acceptable.
• Experience in clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Ability to train and mentor new staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Verify specimens and label accurately; alert providers on critical results.
• Perform analytical procedures using manual or automated methods; verify results per QC criteria.
• Meet turnaround times and maintain productivity; communicate issues affecting quality or TAT.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and escalate issues to supervisor.
• Document work, QC, and regulatory compliance; uphold professional standards.
• Assist in CAP inspection preparation and procedures updates; participate in special projects.
