Job summary

Boston Medical Center Chemistry Lab is seeking a Medical Technologist I to perform and interpret moderate to high complexity clinical tests. You will serve as a resource for lab users, maintain quality control, and document results in the LIS system while ensuring specimen integrity and compliant procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or allied field, with entry-level experience; ASCP/NCA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in applied science or equivalent with supervised internship.
• ASCP/NCA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Entry level position; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to high complexity tests and interpret results.
