Job summary

TriCore is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant in New Mexico to support one or more modalities with independence and minimal supervision. Compensation varies by modalities performed; apprenticeship may be available for candidates without experience.

The role requires regular in-person attendance during scheduled hours, with on-call and after-hours coverage as needed. Strong organizational and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated schooling or laboratory experience; apprenticeship possible.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of Clinical Lab Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for department.
• Handle on-call responsibilities by location.
• Assist with specimen processing and modality-related tasks.
