THE NOLAN COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT in Sweetwater, TX is looking for a Laboratory Assistant to perform various laboratory procedures under supervision. The role requires strong phlebotomy skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Prefer a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Certification as a laboratory assistant preferred.
• Experience as a phlebotomist; drawing neonates, pediatrics, adults and geriatrics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures in phlebotomy, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Hematology.
• Follow all regulations pertaining to licensed personnel.
