Job summary

Valley Baptist - Harlingen Hospital seeks a Laboratory Assistant to perform routine technical and clerical functions, venipuncture, specimen receipt, and distribution of laboratory specimens; may perform CLIA waived tests under supervision.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; preferred: completion of a phlebotomy program. Experience: ability to complete blood draws within six weeks; preferred: 6 months of laboratory experience. A sign-on bonus may be offered.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomist duties as assigned.
