Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, Northside location, is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist. Schedule: Monday–Friday 0800–1630 with on call, holidays and other shifts as needed. Location: Northside.

Salary/Hourly: Hourly Position. The CLAssistant will work independently with minimal supervision, performing modalities with compensation based on modalities completed. Apprenticeship level possible for those without experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant or comparable program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory.
• Observe students and new staff as needed.
• Exhibits professional communication with clients, patients and coworkers.
• Participates in on-call coverage and holiday/weekend rotations.
